There are just a few days left to vote in our Trustee elections – so if you haven’t voted already, please do! Voting will close at 11.59pm on Monday 15 November.
Have you cast your vote yet in our Trustee elections? We have six fantastic candidates from which we’re asking you to vote to fill three vacancies. The candidates were selected by our membership and are Elaine Lambe, Emma den Hollander, Hannah Abrahams, Sarah Bolt, Sarah Brown and Zoe Stewart.
The candidates tell us why they’d like to be an NCT Trustee, as well as how their lived experiences will add to the Board, here.
If you haven’t voted already and are a member of NCT, you should have received emails from Simply Voting with a personal voting link reminding you to vote.
You’ll need to rank the candidates in order of your preference. If you haven’t received the email yet, please check your ‘Junk,’ ‘Other’ or ‘Promotions’ folders.
The results of the Trustee election will be announced at the 2021 Member’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday 26 November from 11:30 to 14:00.
Last week we were delighted to celebrate #TrusteesWeek. We took the opportunity to say thank you to all our Trustees, who volunteer and share their time, knowledge, skills and lived experience to take care of our charity.
We asked two of our Trustees, Chi Evi-Parker and Franciance Husbands-Chevot, how they’d found their first year since being elected to the Board in 2020.
Chi said: “I’ve really enjoyed my first year as a Trustee – there is so much engagement, commitment and enthusiasm from every Board member, and it’s a real privilege to be part of that.
“NCT has some fantastic values and a focused mission at its core, and it’s been wonderful to see these play out in the discussions and decision-making at Board level.”
Franciane said: “It’s my first Trustee experience and I’ve been learning a lot through the support of NCT members at all levels, which is fantastic. This says a lot about the people and I am looking to the year to come, hoping I can give as much as I receive.
“The thing I enjoy most is hearing the fanastic stories of people being part of NCT. Seeing the energy put in each action and knowing that I am part of it is so rewarding.”
Our Trustees volunteer their time, skills, lived experience and knowledge to nurture our charity and we’re hugely thankful for their invaluable support.
You can find out more about all our Trustees, including our new Chair of Trustees Stephanie Maurel, on our Governance at NCT page.
