If you’re interested in standing in this year’s Trustee Election, you must express interest by Tuesday 6 August. You’ll then have until 20 August to submit your nomination pack.
We’re inviting nominations from our membership to fill two Trustee roles, including the President, and we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for committed individuals that will bring their own energy and skill to support the next stage of our journey.
NCT wants to build a Board of diverse perspectives. We recognise that to be as effective as possible we need to recruit people who think in different ways and who have different backgrounds, life experiences and career paths.
We welcome candidates from any and every background that can make a contribution to the Board. For this year’s election, we particularly invite candidates from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds; LGBT+ families; single parent households; and lower-income households.
These characteristics have been identified as beneficial to the work and diversity of the current Board.
We would also like to encourage members living in Northern Ireland to consider standing in the election so the Board has representation across the home nations of the UK.
This year’s AGM will take place on Saturday 16 November 2019 at Woburn House Conference Centre, 20 Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9HQ. An agenda and more details about the event will be published nearer the time. Please do come along to take part in the governance of your charity.

Please note that expressions of interest must be received by Tuesday 6 August 2019, and completed Nomination Packs (which you will be sent after expressing an interest) must be submitted by Tuesday 20 August 2019.
