We’d love you to tell us about your experience of maternity services if you’ve had a baby in the last year. Completing this survey will help us shape policy and practice for the better.
Safe, inclusive support throughout pregnancy and in the early weeks after having a baby is crucial for the health and wellbeing of new parents and their babies. Maternity staff play a critical role during this time, which is why ensuring safe levels of staffing is vitally important.
As the UK’s leading charity supporting parents to have the best possible experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood, we are committed to listening to parents lived experience, advocating for parents’ needs and working with Government and the maternity sector to increase the number and capacity of staff caring for families at this important time in their lives.
In 2022, we are supporting a new campaign by the All Party-Parliamentary Groups on Maternity and Baby Loss with their campaign to improve maternity staffing. To do this, we would like to find out more about new parents’ recent experiences of maternity, neonatal and bereavement care.
If you have given birth in the last year, we would love to hear from you through this survey. It should take no more than 15 minutes to complete and the closing date for the survey is July 27th 2022.
Your answers will be held confidentially, and unless you provide your contacts details at the end of the survey your answers will also be anonymous. We will write a report based on the information we receive through the survey. This report will be shared with the All Party Parliamentary Groups on Maternity and Baby Loss. We may also use the anonymised information in other parts of our wider policy and campaigning work to improve maternity care in the UK.
