We’re supporting Digital Mums’ campaign on flexible working. Together we’re calling on everyone to #cleanupthefword and stop flexible working being seen as a dirty word.
The aim is for flexible working to be seen as the norm for everyone and not just the reserve of a ‘lucky’ few. We feel it’s time to change the culture around flexible working in the UK.
It follows the latest research from Digital Mums which found that seven in 10 employees would like to have flexible working hours, but only 12% have asked for it.
Over half of UK employees think asking for flexible working hours would be viewed negatively by their employer, with two-fifths saying they’d be too nervous or worried to ask.
More than 3,000 people have already signed Digital Mums’ petition to #cleanupthefword and we’d love you to join in too.
