Moving on to solid foods (also known as weaning) is a big moment in your baby’s development. But with so much advice and so many methods out there, it can be tricky to know how to go about it.
We’ve a collection of helpful articles on the NCT website information centre exploring how and when to introduce solid foods to your baby’s diet. We also now offer online Introducing Solid Foods workshops to help you access the information you need to make the decisions that work for you and your baby.
The 100% live online format is led by a friendly and knowledgeable NCT course leader in a small-group format and workshops are now accessible at a greater choice of times – 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends – for £35*.

The new schedule of workshops, with a fully online and interactive format, grew out of the best of our learnings from holding courses and workshops online during Covid-19 lockdowns.
It was clear from uptake and feedback, that the 2-hour session was perfect for online delivery, enabling NCT to reach more parents and offer a greater choice of sessions to suit their schedules.
