Did you know there are over 5000 NCT volunteers across the UK, delivering key parent support services and raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity every year?
Last week NCT celebrated national Volunteers’ Week and used the opportunity to say thank you to our amazing volunteers who plan, share, support, campaign and care every day.
From Bumps and Babies groups to breastfeeding peer support, from parliamentary campaigns to Nearly New Sales, NCT volunteers go above and beyond to support new parents locally and nationally. We wouldn’t be NCT without them.
During the week we showcased a number of our volunteers who told us what being an NCT volunteer means to them and why they enjoy it – check out their stories on our Facebook page. We also heard from members, supporters and practitioners who got in touch using the hashtag #NCTVolunteersRock to share thank yous and praise for volunteers who have made a difference to them.
