Good luck to our 2017 Marathon runners

We wish our marathon runners all the best as they take on 26.2 miles for NCT.

A big shout out to our Marathon runners who will pound London’s pavements on Sunday 23 April to raise money to support NCT’s work in perinatal mental health.

Check out Nina Sutherland, Lucas Homer, Claire King, Nicola Meheran and Jane Kirby’s JustGiving pages to find out why they’re running for NCT – there’s still time to donate!

Jane Kirby, one of our marathon runners

Jane, pictured here, is running to give something back for the support that her sister received from NCT when her son was born 16 years ago.

She said: “As the Marathon draws nearer, many will be reaching the peak of their training and hopefully feel all the hard work paying off and be feeling that much fitter. I’m focusing on the mental battle of getting myself round the course. I remind myself tough times don’t last, tough people do.”

We wish our runners the best of luck. If you’re going along, please look out for them in their NCT t-shirts and give them a cheer.
