It’s been quite a year. At our AGM, alongside announcing the outcome of the Trustee elections, time was spent reviewing and reflecting on the past year and the challenges we’ve all faced.
On Friday 26 November, our NCT community met for our 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM). Thank you so much to all our members who attended.
In her review of the year at the AGM, Angela McConville, our Chief Executive said: ‘This last year has been marked by challenge, isolation, trauma and loss for so many in our community. Our vision of a world in which no parent is isolated has never been more compelling or more essential than during Covid-19.
‘Throughout the pandemic, everyone at NCT has demonstrated their wholehearted commitment to protecting and supporting parents.
‘It is with passion, determination, grit and bravery that we have been able to provide such a lifeline to so many thousands of parents, while acting decisively to secure our charity’s future in the face of the very real impacts of Covid-19 for our ways of volunteering, working and fundraising.
‘I’m so proud of everything we have achieved together and am looking forward to growing our reach and impact even further as we continue to evolve to meet the needs of today and tomorrows’ parents.’
To understand more about our work and impact for parents, we invite you to watch our ‘Year in Review’ video, which shares incredible stories from across our charity. For more detail, you can read our Annual Report for 2020-2021.
