Our members can now vote to fill three Trustee vacancies, with a choice of six candidates.
After a fantastic response from our membership, earlier in October we opened up voting for six candidates to fill three new Trustee roles.
Our candidates, who have been nominated by NCT members, are Elaine Lambe, Emma den Hollander, Hannah Abrahams, Sarah Bolt, Sarah Brown and Zoe Stewart. Find out all about the candidates. Voting will close on Monday 15 November.
Trustees play a vital role in looking after NCT, and we understand that good leadership and governance are best achieved by broadening the diversity, skills and lived experience of the NCT board.
By voting, you can help drive forward our work to become an open, inclusive and diverse charity, and towards our vision of a world in which no parent is isolated and all parents are supported.
If you’re a member of NCT, you should have received a personal voting link from ‘Simply Voting’ today, from which you’ll be able to rank the candidates in order of preference. If you didn’t receive the email, first check your Junk folder, and if it’s not there then contact our Enquiries team on enquiries@nct.org.uk.
The results of the Trustee election will be announced at our AGM on Friday 26 November from 11.30 to 14.00, which all NCT members are welcome to attend.
We were delighted to welcome our new NCT Chair of Trustees, Stephanie Maurel, over the summer. Stephanie was elected to the board in 2017 and is also Chief Executive of the Corporation of Church House.
This year we are also very pleased to have welcomed Ema Ojiako as Honorary Secretary.
