Since the beginning of lockdown, our infant feeding support line has been a genuine lifeline for parents. Now we need your help to make sure we can continue to provide this vital support.
Please donate today and help ensure our support line is open for everyone.
With far less access to postnatal groups, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic means it’s a more emotional and isolating time than ever for new mums and dads.
Our support line has been taking calls day and night – now we need your help to ensure we can be there to give valuable support and guidance when it’s most needed.
As a charity, it’s the kindness of people like you that keeps our support line open.
£5 could help pay for a support call to help a new mum with her feeding decisions
£17 could cover the cost of a vital support call for a new parent
£27 could help keep the support line open until midnight when parents often need us most
Our qualified breastfeeding counsellors have always played a key role for new parents – offering practical and emotional support and guidance about feeding and many other concerns.
There is no magic fix but the counsellor was so kind. Made great suggestions and really listened to all my concerns.
Their incredibly valuable support to parents on our support line has proved particularly important during the pandemic, alongside the one-to-one and community breastfeeding support that they have been providing online – often in a voluntary capacity.
Last month, we shared Bear’s story: “It [feeding] had become a huge source of stress in my head and it was just so nice to chat to someone about it. There is no magic fix but the counsellor was so kind. Made great suggestions and really listened to all my concerns. As a result, I was able to relax and it then worked.”
Your gift today could help provide a vital listening ear for all new parents.
