Friendships formed through NCT can last a lifetime – and if you need proof just take a look at this group originally from Milton Keynes
The group met in 1988 at an NCT antenatal class when they were all expecting their first babies. All four went on to have daughters and, despite moving and scattering across the country, they have remained firm friends.
We are so happy and thankful that NCT brought us together
The group try to meet, catch up and reminisce every October – and they’ve just reached the fantastic milestone of their 30th reunion.
They also love to celebrate their daughter’s successes with each other. Keli Watts’s daughter works in hotel management in Harrogate and recently had a baby herself, while Wendy Rugg-Easey’s daughter is a private art and language tutor in Norwich.
Jane Chew’s daughter works at the Royal Academy of Dance in London; and Bernadette Lane’s daughter is a speech and language teacher in Oxford.
A big thank you to Keli for sharing this story. We love to hear about the friendships you’ve formed through NCT. If you’d like to share your story, please contact us at nctmatterseditor@nct.org.uk.
